The AIIA (Australian Information Industry Association) annual iAwards are the most prestigious industry awards in Australia. River Dynamics was the winner of the 2004 Outstanding Australian Product Innovation award.
smartAlloc was voted the best innovation in claims management in 2003, and River Dynamics won the Innovation in Claims Management Award, presented by the Australian & New Zealand Institute of Insurance & Finance (ANZIIF).

Description - this patent relates to a core component of the smartAlloc system - intelligent allocation. This is the method whereby historical performance is used to recommend which company, from a panel of companies, should receive new jobs.
Expectation Management
Status - Pending worldwide
Description - this patent is an extension to the intelligent allocation system patent. The expectation management process enables the performance of suppliers to be compared against expectations, and allows those expectations to be "negotiated" and updated as circumstances change over time. In this way, suppliers' performance can be assessed against the latest expectations rather than original goals (if those original goals are no longer appropriate).
